Your fun exploration begins as you step onto Hilo's only commercial dive boat and leave the shoreline behind to explore some of the best dive sites in the area. Join expert dive guides for an exhilarating experience at unspoiled reefs. This tour is ideal for experienced divers who have completed at least 15 dives. If your last dive was more than two years ago, a refresher course is required and must be booked separately.
Diving in Hawai'i is an incredible way to discover the Big Island's underwater paradise, and the Hawaiian Islands are consistently ranked among the top scuba destinations in the world. On this tour, you'll venture to remote locations around Hilo that are only accessible by boat. Sites may include Mauna Kea Crater, cascading waterfalls, the scenic Hamakua Coast, and an abandoned 1920s sugar plantation mill. On occasion, spinner dolphins may even appear alongside the boat.
Beneath the surface, you'll explore unique underwater landscapes featuring pinnacles, canyons, coral-covered shelves, arches, and vibrant marine life native to the Hawaiian Islands. Encounters may include colorful reef fish, eels, turtles, and nudibranchs, with the possibility of spotting manta rays, eagle rays, octopus, or dolphins.
